Guinea, like many countries in the world, is suffering from the effects of climate change caused by desertification, the loss of endemic biodiversity, and the disappearance of springs that threaten the entire subregion. That is why Guinea participated in international meetings on climate since 1992.
It is in this context that the ReNaSCEDD network wishes to organize the Youth Conference on Climate in Guinea (LocalCOY13 Guinea) in partnership with the Regional Council of Organizations of Civil Society of Conakry (CROSC-Ckry) for the protection of the environment. It shall provide a setting up of a citizen monitoring mechanism for environmental management and governance for sustainable development. It is part of the Guinea National Contribution at the National Level (CDN).
